(Living Obediently Victoriosly & Expectantly!) |
1. The Word – We believe the Word of God,
the Bible is God’s method for man. It is the divinely inspired
Word of God and as such is infallible, inerrant and therefore authoritative
in communicating timeless truths concerning God’s will for
us.
2. God – We believe in one omnipotent (all
powerful), omniscient (all knowing) and omnipresent (all powerful)
God. He is creator and control of all mankind.
3. The Trinity – We believe the one God
has revealed Himself in three persons: God the Father, God the
Son and God the Holy Spirit. They are distinct in role and function
yet one in essence.
4. Jesus Christ – We believe Jesus Christ
is the express image of the invisible God. We believe He was conceived
by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. We believe He was sinless
in His humanity and complete in His divinity. We believe He undertook
the sins of the world and died a perfect sacrifice on our behalf.
We believe He was bodily resurrected, ascended into Heaven, will
return for His people and establish His Kingdom on earth.
5. The Holy Spirit – We believe the Holy
Spirit, among other things, exalts Jesus Christ, convicts the world
of sin, renews the believer and equips and empowers God’s
people for Godly living. He is the living life force of the believer
and we are to be filled with Him.
6. Sin – We believe sin brought physical,
spiritual death and separation to all humankind as a consequence
of Adam’s actions towards God. We believe that sin keeps
us from a maturing relationship with God.
7. Salvation – We believe salvation is
a free gift from God, provided by grace through faith in the work
of Jesus Christ on the cross. We believe Jesus Christ’s death,
burial and resurrection were the sufficient sacrifice and payable
to reconcile man back to God. As such, upon receiving Jesus Christ,
we are eternally secure for all eternity.
